At Oilily and OIGWUU, we are dedicated to providing audiophiles with premium vacuum tube amplifiers and an unparalleled listening experience. We take immense pride in our craftsmanship and stand behind every product we build.
Limited Warranty This is a limited warranty covering the amplifier main unit and vacuum tubes described below.
01Warranty Period
Main Unit (Amplifier): A 1-Year Limited Warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Vacuum Tubes: A 3-Month Limited Warranty from the date of delivery. Vacuum tubes are consumable components with a finite lifespan.
Start and end dates: The warranty period begins on the date of original purchase or delivery and expires one year (main unit) or three months (vacuum tubes) from that date.
02Who Is Covered
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser who bought the product directly from Oilily / OIGWUU or through an authorised distributor. It is not transferable and cannot be inherited by a subsequent owner.
To obtain service, the original purchaser must provide proof of purchase — the original sales invoice or an order confirmation showing the date of purchase, the product, and the purchaser name.
03What Is Covered
We will repair or replace (at our discretion) any components that prove defective due to improper material or workmanship. During the warranty period, Oilily / OIGWUU will provide:
- Professional technical support and remote troubleshooting.
- Replacement parts or necessary repair services for confirmed manufacturing defects.
- Repairs performed at our designated service centre or, where applicable, arranged through an authorised distributor.
04What Is Not Covered
To ensure the longevity of your equipment, please operate it with care. This warranty does not cover:
- No-Load Damage: Turning on the amplifier without speakers (load) connected, which can result in output transformer failure.
- Unauthorized Modifications: Unauthorized repairs, circuit alterations, or "tube rolling" using incompatible vacuum tubes.
- Unauthorized Service: Repair, modification, or servicing performed by anyone other than Oilily / OIGWUU or an authorised service centre. Any unauthorized repair voids this warranty.
- Misuse & Negligence: Power surges, lightning strikes, liquid spills, physical drops, or improper ventilation.
- Aesthetics: Natural wear and tear of the chassis finish, silk-screening, or external cosmetic parts.
- Third-Party Parts: Issues caused by the use of non-original or third-party power cables and accessories.
- Altered Serial Number: Coverage is void on any unit whose serial number has been defaced, altered, scraped, removed, or is otherwise illegible.
05How to Obtain Warranty Service
Email services@oilily-hifi.com with your Order ID, a brief description of the issue, and if possible a short video or photo.
Our technical team will help diagnose the issue. Many tube-related concerns are resolved through simple adjustments or tube replacement.
If a repair is necessary we will issue an RMA number and instructions. Please do not ship any product back without prior authorization.
06Shipping Costs
- Within the first 30 days: If a manufacturing defect is confirmed within 30 days of delivery, Oilily / OIGWUU covers the shipping costs for the repair or replacement.
- Within the United States (after 30 days): If you purchased from the Oilily store, the customer is responsible for shipping the unit to our US warehouse. We cover the return shipping cost once service is completed.
Outside the United States (after 30 days): If you purchased from the OIGWUU store, your amplifier ships from and is serviced through our factory in China. Our US warehouse cannot receive an international return, so a return must be routed to our China service centre.
Please contact us before shipping anything. Write to services@oilily-hifi.com with your order number and delivery address. We will confirm the correct return address for your country, advise whether we can arrange collection from your location, and tell you what the return shipping will cost before you commit. Do not send a 23–36 kg amplifier to an address we have not confirmed in writing — unauthorised returns are frequently refused by the carrier or charged to the sender.
07Service Turnaround Time
Once we receive the unit, the estimated repair and inspection turnaround is 15 to 20 business days. This estimate excludes transit time to and from our facility, and may be extended if a replacement part must be sourced from the original manufacturer.
If a repair will exceed this estimate, we will contact you with a revised timeline before proceeding. We will not return the unit or charge any repair fee without your approval.
08Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Oilily / OIGWUU shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including loss of profit, loss of use, or damage to other equipment, arising out of or related to the product or this warranty, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
No other warranties apply. This limited warranty is the exclusive remedy. Except as expressly provided above, Oilily / OIGWUU makes no other warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
09State Law Rights (United States)
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties, or the limitation of consequential damages, so certain limitations above may not apply to you in those states.
10Care & Maintenance
To protect your investment and maintain optimal sound quality:
- Connect the speakers and confirm the tubes are securely seated before turning on the amplifier.
- Never touch the tubes while the amplifier is switched on — they operate at very high temperatures. After switching off, allow the tubes to cool completely before moving the unit or handling them; at least ten minutes (10 minutes) is recommended. If you need to remove a tube sooner, use a cloth or gloves and hold it by the base only.
- Keep at least 8 inches (20 cm) of clearance around the unit on all sides for proper heat dissipation. Do not place the amplifier in a fully enclosed cabinet, and never cover it with a cloth or place items on top of it.
