1. Warranty Period
Main Unit (Amplifier): Includes a 1-Year Limited Warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Vacuum Tubes: As vacuum tubes are considered consumable components with a finite lifespan, they are covered by a 3-Month Limited Warranty from the date of delivery.
The warranty period begins on the date of original purchase/delivery to the customer.
2. What is Covered
This warranty covers the repair or replacement (at our discretion) of any components that prove defective due to improper material or workmanship. During the warranty period, Oilily / OIGWUU will provide:
- Professional technical support and remote troubleshooting.
- Replacement parts or necessary repair services for confirmed manufacturing defects.
3. Warranty Exclusions (Not Covered)
To ensure the longevity of your high-fidelity equipment, please operate it with care. This warranty does not cover:
- No-Load Damage: Damage caused by turning on the amplifier without speakers (load) connected, which can result in output transformer failure.
- Unauthorized Modifications: Damage resulting from unauthorized repairs, circuit alterations, or “tube rolling” using incompatible vacuum tubes.
- Misuse & Negligence: Damage from power surges, lightning strikes, liquid spills, physical drops, or improper ventilation.
- Aesthetics: Natural wear and tear of the chassis finish, silk-screening, or external cosmetic parts.
- Third-Party Parts: Issues caused by the use of non-original or third-party power cables and accessories.
4. How to Obtain Warranty Service
If you experience any issues with your device, please follow our standard RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process:
- Contact Support: Email us at [services@oilily-hifi.com ] with your Order ID, a brief description of the issue, and (if possible) a short video or photo of the problem.
- Remote Diagnosis: Our technical team will assist you in diagnosing the issue. Many tube-related concerns can be resolved through simple adjustments or tube replacement.
- RMA Issuance: If a repair is necessary, we will provide you with an RMA number and instructions for the next steps. Please do not ship any products back without prior authorization.
5. Shipping Policy
- Within the First 30 Days: If a manufacturing defect is confirmed within 30 days of delivery, Oilily / OIGWUU will cover the shipping costs for the repair or replacement.
- After 30 Days: For warranty claims made after the initial 30-day period, the customer is responsible for shipping the unit to our designated service center (or our US-based warehouse). We will cover the return shipping costs to you once the service is completed.
6. Professional Maintenance Recommendations
To protect your investment and maintain optimal sound quality:
- Be sure to connect the speakers and check that the tubes are securely seated before turning on the amplifier.
- After turning off the unit, wait at least 5 minutes before moving it or replacing the tubes.
- Ensure there is at least 4–6 inches of space around the unit to allow for proper heat dissipation.
